JorgeWhen we first saw Jorge sitting all alone, we noticed tears streaming down his face. He was saddened by his situation of being assaulted the night before, and he was hungry. Nelly and Carosita quickly went to get a sandwich for Jorge, we gave him water and started to share the message of salvation with him. Jorge knew that Jesus was in heaven but was unaware of being able to have Jesus come and live in his heart. As soon as he heard this was possible he prayed the prayer of salvation with us and we prayed for healing of his wounds and saddened heart. We invited Jorge to the five days of breakfasts at the First Baptist Church and he attended every day and alertly watched the Alpha videos and paid attention to the testimonies. We believe that when we return next year to Puerto Vallarta, we will see even a bigger change in Jorge, as he will be going to the church twice a week for future meals. We also pray for him to be able to quit drinking alcohol, as he requested during the breakfasts we served while we were there.

Alejandra's family
ALEJANDRA
What a blessing it was to meet Alejandra and her family. As we were doing our street walk, we, at first, walked past Alejandra and just said hola. But God had a different plan and prompted by the Spirit to go back and pray for Alejandra, we turned around to do so. After praying with and for Alejandra, her mother asked us to enter her home and pray for her brother who had a stroke, and her mother who was diagnosed with kidney failure. We also prayed for Alejandra's mommy who had the chore of taking care of all three of them. The amazing part was when we returned a few days later and was greeted by the elderly grandmother of Alejandra, with smiles and laughter. This was amazing because two days earlier, as we prayed, she was very weak and bed ridden. Jesus heals and even turns us around in the process, as we learn to hear His voice directing us to do His will. we will check back with Alejandra and the family when we return in June 2018. |

RamonOne day as we were walking near the beach, we came across Ramon sitting in a chair all tucked in against the building shading himself from the sun. I think he was a bit unsure of who we were and what our reason was to speak with him at first. But, once Elsa, Nelly and Carosita spoke with Ramon in Español , Ramon opened up not only in conversation, but in his heart to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and saviour. We also prayed for healing in Ramon's legs, and God loosened them up enough for him to get up and walk with both Elsa and I. Ramon, like so many others in Mexico, are hungry for God, they just need someone to feed them. We were blessed to be that someone for Ramon and others, and look forward to what the future will bring as we return to Puerto Vallarta Mexico in 2018
